SCUBA Technician Specialist Course –

This is a comprehensive program covering all aspects of the dive store technician job duties. Graduates will be prepared to work in a dive operation competently and safely. Apprenticeship is necessary under an experienced full time technician to learn specifics of different brands and type of life support equipment. Attendance in the future at various manufacturer run service clinics will then offer a broader knowledge base..

The dive industry is full of employment opportunities. However, if you are hopingto find a great job rather than just any job, you need to set yourself apart from the average job candidate. Our Scuba Technician Specialist program will provide you with the comprehensive training and practical experience you need to find the right job in today's competitive employment market.

We recognize that, while some of you will be seeking employment with a resort dive operator, others may prefer a retail setting or a position on a live-aboard dive boat. So, unlike other training programs which concentrate exclusively on preparing you for working in a resort operation only, our Scuba Technician Specialist program provides you with the diverse training and skills today's dive industry employers are seeking.

Whether or not you intend to work in the dive industry, you will benefit from having some training in dive equipment maintenance. This program will expand your theoretical knowledge of dive equipment design and function. Its main purpose is to provide you with the opportunity to gain the valuable hands-on practical experience needed to enhance your job prospects.
